一次噪音：指的是由声源直接爆发并撒播到吸收点的声音，是噪音的原始发声状态。好比修建外部的交通噪声，像汽车行驶时的发念头声、轮胎与地面的摩擦声，以及修建内部的职员运动声、装备运行的直接发声等，如空调外机运行时发出的声音，都属于一次噪音。二次噪音：是一次噪音引起的次生噪音。当一次噪音的振动能量转达到修建结构（如墙体、楼板等）后，使修建结构爆发振动，这种振动再向周围空气辐射出的声音就是二次噪音。例如，周围工厂机械运转爆发的振动通过地面和修建基础传至修建结构，引发结构振动从而爆发的噪音就属于二次噪音。
